Like the title says what your plans for the Holidays?

I will be staying home with the kids for the Holidays.
My Brother from NJ will be joining us.

 

Ill be at home

 

My dads this weekend. Some college basketball games (University of Louisville). Cooking for Christmas Eve. Friends party next weekend. Her dads Christmas Eve day. Christmas Eve mass then to our house. Christmas day get to see son open presents that include a CD Changer, rear spoiler and a Volvo hat. Grandmothers Christmas night. Collapse the next day, then some more basketball games and back to work on Jan. 2. Whew! Am I going to be busy or what?

 

Everybody is invited to my house the week after Christmas. Bring your own hammer. I'm framing the basement.

I think all three kids and their kids are coming to our house Xmas eve and then we are making the rounds to their houses on Xmas day.

Any time the NFL is on, I'm home though.

Taking it low-key... We're doing some things through our church (bringing a "Blessing Basket" to the local fire department after Christmas Eve service) and probably getting together with some friends at some point (one of our friends are due to have their son on Christmas day!). On Christmas day though, we'll just stay home and enjoy some down time as a family. Hopefully our 1 yr 4 month old son will be able to get excited to open some presents this year (last year he was sick and didn't know what was going on anyway).

Now, on New Year's weekend, I'm going to try andtackle my timing belt and some clutch issues with my Eclipse (I think I just need to drain the fluid and flush it out a few times - feels like a line is clogged or something since the clutch only works sporadically now).

 

christmas= home, with family, dinner.

New Year= party with friends go to NYC.

 

We'll be going to my Mother-in-Laws...ghhh....and my Sister-in-Law will be there too.....eckkkk......... ..In the bright side.............................................. ...................

You could drive down to my mother-in-law's (or my mom's, but I'd recommend my MIL) instead (Northeast CT). She usually goes all out with the turkey and fixings and is used to a lot of people (my wife is one of four kids, so with all the families it can get crowded). We're not making the long drive up this year (staying in warmer climates) so I'm sure she has some extra chairs...

 

That sounds great,we'll be there. But, if it she doesn'tlet us in, we'll drive west to JimKW's and work for leftovers.

Visiting the in-laws x-mas eve. Then making the rounds x-mas day again. No special plans here. Thinking of using the "Gotta go help a friend frame a basement" excuse to get out of it.
