For affordable, everyday cars:
I used to own this one. Crown Vic Police Interceptor. Respectable power, it isn't a 'Vette or anything, but not bad. Easy to work on and maintain. And the rubber floors are great if you have kids. Also very comfortable to drive (I hate small cars) and gets better gas mileage than you think.

One of my favorites, and it's a friend's car, is the old R33, nothing beats the earlier skyline styling.

I would also love a GT25s-M for some drifto
Closely followed by the SSC Ultimate Aero, the greatest super-car ever
(Veyron fanboys are extremely annoying, and i've sat in a Veyron SS, they are hideous)

Nissan GT-R (R35) no question. It is an absolutely fantastic car and pays homage to the old skylines; does them justice. Stock car 0-60 mph in under 3 sec. 520 hp, 450 ft-lb torque, top speed of almost 200 mph (195), a V-6 twin turbo AWD beast for under $100k, and how spectacular it looks. Nothing even comes close to this car in my opinion.

Nice call on the nissan gt. Incredible for the $$, or any $$$ really. Always thought they picked up where Acura left off and did what acura should have done with nsx. Supercar performance with unbeatable reliability and driveability.
My favs are the jag xj220 and ferrari f40 for track. For daily sedan, the maserati. Still wish I'd done that instead of jag jxr, although it was a beast. Oh well, dreams of days gone by.

I agree, I wish Acura did more with the NSX (By done more, I mean, kept producing) that thing was awesome.
What Maseati? and year?

The maserati quattroporte, 05, 06 etc..
In 99, 00, I was researching supercars and the dealers kept coming up with "nsx". Reliability, great value, couldn't break it (unless wreck it). So I ultimately bought one. Like a gokart on steroids. When they first came out, the nsx changed the reliability and driveablity standard for the supercar industry. The impact it actually had is still under-rated in my opinion. But the HP was on the low side, and when I got the xjr in 04, it matched the nsx in straight line performance. Things change. It was easy to drive up to its limit, but the mid-engine balance meant going into a corner too hot could only be solved by accelerating and plowing on through it (hopefully). Let up and you'd be trying to take the corner backwards. Great car. Too bad they didn't evolve the platform. Had a buddy who used to race semi-pro, also owned one, and saw him do some amazing things with it. He eventually move on due to acceleration issues--win in the corners and lose in the straights.

Do you still have your NSX? That Jag xj220 is pretty sleek, the top speed is great and is quick getting up to speed with that 500 hp (I think it was that much). Plus, you get to answer the question of what you drive with, "A Jag..." the thing that bums me out about such great cars is the price tag. I understand it, and would probably hate it if they tried to cut corners and rarity to cut costs...I am just glad that there are cars in the 5-digit range that can outperform many well over their price. Are you regularly driving your Maserati?

No, don't have the nsx since 04. Got the jag xjr at that time. Went from a scalpel to a sledghammer in that regard. Didn't have the track time for nsx and a garage with wife and kids wasn't good for the nsx. Went with the xjr instead of maserati because of service/dealerships. Price point was about the same, but no local dealers for maserati. So I got rid of nsx and daily driver at time (don't remember which) and went with xjr and a jeep wrangler for winter. I think both the jag and maserati offered a great value for the $ in regards to quality, compared to say a bentley--which definately offered more but also cost Significantly more $. And the same, for me, was true with nsx in regards to supercars. Just like the nissan gt does today.
