Your Favorite Cars - Pics & Why...

Ap1 S2000 - My favorite affordable car. I owned this s2000 for a little over a year and absolutely loved it. The major drawback is that it is not a practical daily driver.
It is very lightweight, engine cut is 9000rpm, convertible, forged engine ready for boost, no TCS, rear-wheel drive, 6-speed. I honestly think its the best toy you can buy without cleaning out your wallet.

The SAAB 900 SPG will forever remain my favorite car. I just love everything about it. It has decent speed, a huge trunk, extremely unique looks to it, whaletail, etc. These two are two that I want to own the most. The pearl white one was a prototype made in 84 and they only made three I believe in that color. They only made 110 of the beryl greens and I just love the color. Sorry for the large picture
An e28 m5 just because...it's an m5. I've always loved old bmw's and these are just awesome.

I'm loving our new to us 2002 V70. Very comfortable and much quieter than our old Mercedes 300CD Turbo.
For me the best car is the air cooled Porsche 911. The way it looks, the way it feels, the way it sounds... I've driven Porsches for more than 30 years and my 84 Carrera fits me like a glove. I've owned faster Porsches but this is the one that does it.
The most beautiful cars to me is the Miura followed by the Speedster. Imagine seeing a Lamborghini back in the 60's when everybody was driving Vista Cruisers. The Speedster looks just perfect.
Most awesome car design Ferrari Modulo

I assumed when I saw this thread that you meant something we have owned, rather than just some exotic million dollar car that we've never actually seen, let alone driven. Right?
So, my favorite.....
In my opinion, higher than average cool factor (for a van), especially with the windows tinted since the pic was taken.
Stick shift (22 mpg highway), 4400 lb towing capacity, great visibility, and a ridiculous amount of room -- hauls 8 tubes to the river in the summer, hauled a washer & dryer and still had seating for 4 people, and with the seats out and an air mattress in, it's awesome for camping.
Love the v-dub

Of the almost 30 vehicles I've owned in my life, there are only 2 that I truly miss:
1) E46 M3
Carbon black, 6 speed (non-SMG), lowered on GC coilovers, nice stereo, radar blockers back when they were legal in TX... I loved that car. Unfortunately I fell victim to the infamous E46 rear subframe issue. Subframe ripped out of the unibody after hitting construction on I-30 in Ft Worth.
2) Aprilia RSV Mille-R Haga Replica
Stolen in Dallas less than 6 weeks after I drove to Baton Rouge to buy it. #086 of 300 produced. Loved it.
As for cars I haven't (and likely will never) owned?
I don't care if it would try to kill me. I don't care if it's horribly impractical in any and all situations. I don't care that I'd have to go on a Gandhi-esque crash diet before I could fit my fat *** into it. I want that car to be mentioned somewhere in my obituary.

My favorite is my Land Rover Discovery II. I bought it after an 18 wheeler ran a red light and T-boned me totaling out my older Discovery I. Bought this one with a bad (overheated) engine that was partially disassembled. I brought it back to life and haven't had any problems with it for 2 1/2 years now. (knocking on wood ) Say what you want about its looks but the thing is amazing off road and can tow up to 7,700lbs. Not to mention the Hill Descent Control is great!

1936 Deusenberg SJ. At the time Ford's big bad V8 produced 165hp. The SJ's inline eight boasted 302hp thanks to dual overhead cams and a supercharger. White walls, swooping lines, a hood that disappears into the sunset, chrome and style that is so classic. How can you go wrong?
This is of course excluding all Volvos.

car love
hello.. the ask of of liking car of yours comprised of many attributes as some are rocking over its thumping exterior and some are over its roaring engine .. some delivers a great performance and some top notch speed.. but except all i've to stop at a single choice and in my opinion I'll surely go for Porsche 911... a head to all

I can also highly suggest the Livina. We have an Acenta, but it has amazed me in its versitility, but most essentially, top quality. I also don't care much for these twits with bad comments, leave them be to their small dream worlds. Reality is, if you are searching for a outstanding car to do work-horse duty, look no further than this. I was also sceptical about purchasing a Nissan because of the car-hire tag some versions carry, but this is one selection I surely don't regret. My only gripe on the car is that it doesn't have an MP3 player, either as standard or an choice.
Well done Nissan, I expect to experiencing the x-gear in the flesh.

1993 to 1995 VW Corrado SLC.
I have always been a sucker for a coupe. Designed to be a successor/competitor for the Porsche 944 the level of trim, detail and fit and finish was fantastic, specifically on the later VR6 models whose engine was absolutely cracking. Every single one was built by Karmann Coachworks in Germany and shipped over here. Way back when, EVO Magazine had the VR6 Corrado listed in their "Knowledge" section with a five star rating. 'Nuff said. I miss mine badly.
