Default Need distributor for 82 240 DL

Hello all, I need a known good distributor for my brother's 82 240 DL. I'm hoping I wont have to drop ~$200 on a new one on what could possibly not even be the problem.

We'll need to know if your bro's car is a CI (KJet) ignition/fueling system or the dreaded LH1.0 The easiest way to tell is to look at the silver air intake. If it has a large flat rectangular wing on it, it is KJet. If the intake looks more streamlined and has 4 cylindrical runners and the fuel injectors insert into the base of the intake you have LH1.0 Most Bricks in 82 were still KJet and the distributors are common; if LH1.0, sourcing is a little tougher although I seem to remember you can use the later LH2.0 distributors w/o major issue. I have a KJet distibutor that is known good I'd sell for $40 shipped in the conUS. If you have KJet, drop me a p/m and I'll send my p/p address.
