Looking for one of the earlier diesel engine 244's; Would prefer it to be in atleast somewhat decent condition. Colour doesn't really matter to me, but Cimarron Brown / Maroon with a Dark Brown interior would definitely be preferred (The interior colour is more sought than the exterior).

Not quite sure how rare these are, but considering the one I was looking to buy was sold, figured I'd ask on the classifieds.

I live in Texas but am willing to travel / arrange a way to ship it this way if necessary.

 

Out of pure curiosity, why? The engine, the D6 made by VW, is not a good power plant by any measure, not to mention that it spews may be a 100 times more pollution than a gas motor. Luckily, it's pretty impossible to find. A gas powered 240 of that vintage is hard enough, and they sold many more of them...
