For Sale - 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo. Burgundy. $1,000 - located in Tennessee

Approx 120,000-130,000 miles, odo broke at 85,000 but I have vehicle history reports and know the previous owner to make that estimate. I have owned the car for the past 3 years and drove the car approx 15,000 miles over that time. Selling due to lack of use.

$2000 repair completed about 3 years ago (I have original receipt from the shop) - timing belt, radiator, plugs and wires were replaced as well as other maintenance performed. I have replaced the brake pads, rotors and hoses, and have kept the oil changed. I have all receipts for the car for the past 3 years and some from the previous owner. I also have a copy of the vehicle history report.

The two issues with the car - 1. the ABS light is on on the dashboard and it may need a new master cylinder. 2. the gas tank leaks at the heat shield by the muffler. This is a warranty item but I have not made it to the dealer to get it resolved. This causes a slight hesitation when accelerating quickly due to lack of fuel pressure.

The little stuff that I know about the car:

The odo broke at 85000 miles. The front right turn signal does not work because the light socket is corroded. Needs new tires (one more than the other three). The front right wheel bearing may need to be replaced (slight vibration at 55-60 mph). According to a service report, one of the engine mounts is cracked. It leaks some oil. It leaks some coolant. The AC does not work. The back light on the climate control panel does not work. The driver side window switch is going out. The clear coat over the paint is spotty.

It sounds like a lot of problems, but I just use the car around town to run some errands and go to the grocery store and it does fine. It runs well on the highway, probably better than it does around town.

Paid $3000 for the car 3 years ago. Selling for $1000.

Could be used as a parts car or fixed up into a daily driver.

I bet the abs light is from a bad abs module..Easier than the cylinder. Good Luck on the sale!
