Default HELP! What Should I do With My Volvo S70 GLT???

Ok..this is the situation,. I have my 1998 S70 GLT up for sale because i got a DWi and wont be driving for a while. But, it also has a few things that need to be fixed..white smoke coming out of the tailpipe, needs new emergency brake line, the drivers side elecric window doesnt work, and probably a few more things i havent found out about yet. the engine is in great condition, there is no rust, the interior is in great shape, overall, a great car that just needs some work. The other problem is that it has no plates on it, so noone can test drive it. If the car was fixed, KBB says is worth about $3200, so i have been asking $2k on craqigslist. But when people find out it needs work, etc,..they lose interest, of course. Can i sell it for parts? how would i do that or does anyone have any idea how i can get at least SOME cash for it?? I can post pics.

Someone can test drive in your neighborhood if they don't drive too far. Can you get a temporary registration plate for the car? At my local county tax office I can purchase temporary registration paper plates for $25.00. It's good for 30 days. Your state should offer something similar. The car must be insured though.

Has the car overheated before? You may have a head gasket failure which is a very costly repair. If that is the case you can sell the car to a junk yard. You won't get much for it and the title must be in your name. Good luck.
