Question Engine Rebuild (Timing Tensioner Bounce Issue) 2006 V70 2.5T

Greetings,

I just finished a rebuild on my 2006 V70 2.5T after I bent a few valves from a timing belt snap on the highway. All the valves were replaced, lapped, new seals all around, full-timing belt kit including water pump. I start her up and she sounds great!

The issue comes when I go through a full visual inspection and I see that the timing belt tensioner (Temp Arm) is bouncing back and forth about 2-3 mm. I figure this is not normal and proceed to google the issue... and yes this is not normal. At this point, I have replaced the idler pulley and the tensioner arm and the issue is still present. I'm at a loss at this point.

Perhaps the engine just needs time to break in? More likely I am missing something... Any input is appreciated!!!!
