Metal clanking sound
So, my 2006 volvo xc90 is driving me nuts. When driving at a slow speed, either accelerating or coasting, there is a noise. It seems to be coming from under the driver side of the car. It sounds like there are tiny monkeys under my car with spoons hitting on something metal. If the noise starts, I can hit the gas harder and it will subside. I do not notice it at faster speeds. Imagine driving down neighborhood street, or grocery store aisle. That's the speed I would be going. The car drives and sounds fine all other times. Even with the noise, the function of the car is normal. Pease help me brain storm!
It actually doesn't do it at idol. Seems to have gone away for now. Haven't heard the noise on a few days
It did this earlier this year as well. Terrible noise for a few weeks then all of a sudden the noise is gone

what was it?
I'm not overly familiar with the xc90's, but I know that on 850's, a clunking in the front corner at low speed/accelerating/braking is usually the rubber upper spring seats in the front suspension struts.
Sounds like whatever it was fell off and cant hurt you no more lol.
