Do you have a 964 or 965 wagon? The wagon conversion is rather simple, involving purchasing standard 945 rear wagon springs and shocks. I believe you may have to swap the old shock bushings into the new shocks. Sorry..it's been awhile. The sedans have independent rear suspension (IRS) and the conversion is a bit more involved. IPD used to sell the conversion kit; not sure if they still do. If it doesn't show online, I'd call 'em. Often they will drop an item and still have inventory overage for quite sometime.

I have a 1997 965, I thought I had IRS?

Or is it year dependent? I also in the future will need to replace the rear shocks and conversion certainly sounds the better alternative

I've only learned recently that the wagons did indeed switch to IRS in 95. I had Nivos on my 760. They worked as designed...but every morning I'd walk to the car and the rear end was really droopy. By the time I got to h stop sign at the end of my street they were pumped up. Just wierd! They had to go.
