I have a 2005 S60 and I noticed yellowish oil leaking from the rear end. what should I check first and is this difficult to repair?

Most probably the yesslowish oil is power steering fluid. you must have to go to a very good auto repair shop for minimise the risk. I suggest you a best auto repair shop i.e. Rose Brothers Garage. They are really helpful. Rose Brothers Garage also offers a wide range of auto repair services including Oil, Filter & Lube, A/C Service and Repairs, Brake System Repairs,2 and 4 Wheel alignments, Tire Sales & Service, Factory-Recommended Service Intervals,Heating & Cooling, Electrical System and computer repair, Transmission Repair & Replacement, Steering & Suspension.

Hmm... user name "davidrose" recommends "Rose Brothers Garage" huh?

Yellow power steering fluid on a Volvo? From the rear differential? Wow, you guys really know your stuff huh? The power steering fluid is either red (ATF on the older models) or blue on the later models. And none of the differentials used power steering fluid.

So based on your spam post and lack of knowledge, I would recommend no one goes to your shop.
