Default "bulb out sensor" location

after changing the bulb on my passenger side tail park lights, it still won't come on.
I checked the current and there was NONE. the front park light is on and so is the drivers side park light ..... the only thing I think is the problem is the bulb out sensor--- WHERE IS THIS BUGGAR LOCATED??? Should i just jump the front passenger to the back to feed power there and just dissconnect the wire feeding the rear one?? Can'r get an inspection with this issue.....

I had bulb out warning light come on in my 850 one time. I could not figure it out and my son said it was my rear fog light. For some reason it's only on one side of the car. He turned the switch off on the dash and my warning light went out. Not sure if this is at all releveant to what you are talking about. Probably not.

actually that looks like a bulb out sensor...that is the fog light on indicator...very similar to bulb out warning light....thanks though..

And just an Update::: the whole panel is showing weak power: to the brakes, back up, and turn... it's like 50% less power than the drivers side......wiring harness???

Check the circuit board really good as well as the grounds.

Right...I had an intermittant Bulb Warning because of a loose ground to my RR taillights.

And the circuit board, I assume you mean the one in the tail-light assembly.

Also, no one has mentioned that, since the bulb out warning relay (the red round one, behind the fuse box, behind the ash tray) compares the current on each side, it is always preferable to replace BOTH side bulbs of the circuit so that false alarms are not triggered. Different brands of bulb draw differing anounts of current.

Lastly, the bulb-out relay sometimes benefits from re-flowing its solder joints, just like many other Volvo circuitry.
