First Volvo, a 1982 244DL, great car, but needs some love (Needed new shifter handle, brake light rails needed filed to remove corrosion, driver window won't roll up all the way, stuff like that).

About 2 weeks ago, it started sputtering while driving (no pattern, sometimes when cold, sometimes when it's been driven for 100 miles). Seems like loss of fuel flow to the engine, changed spark wires, checked spark plugs (and fuses). Driveable, but annoying that it'll start sputtering and lunge as fuel is/isn't ignited, which also can't be good for fuel mileage. Also when at idle and it does it, the car shudders in a way that can't be good for the mounts, as it stalls.

Looking for other ideas to check (cheapest first lol). I was reading many other posts (most seemed to do with not starting at all), and listening for the two fuel pumps (Which I can hear when turned to ACC).
