Hey there guys recently got this Volvo 240 4 eye and she needs a manifold/manifolds. Does anyone reproduce these manifolds that you know of? Last thing I need to register car.

 

Have not seen a running diesel in 25 years! Does it start and drive?

 

Starts and runs like a champ! Seems to need alternator and manifold but cant seem to find many parts for this brick!

 

What's wrong with the manifold? Manifolds rarely fail since they are just a piece of metal in most cases, is it cracked? If you do need it, I won't be an easy find. This engine was made by VW, a straight six, so may be you can expand your search in that direction. Europe had a lot more of these but the vast majority are long gone. You may want to look into junkyards specializing in old VW parts.

 

Yessir, cracked like hell. I did find a site that remakes the 1-3 cylinder manifold, but not the 4-6 manifold and I definitely see that they are thats to find. I'm in Orlando Fl, so there arent many Volvo based junkyards around here lol
