1985 244 GL Weekend warrior!
Two days ago I drove across the state. it was hot like 103 hot. I've been having issues with vapor lock and I noticed that when it happens the fuel rail type line is too hot to touch. I use a little water in my hand and wipe it down and bam off and running until it gets too hot again. Any suggestions?
Secondly, I got tired of having an oil patch in my driveway so, I bit the bullet and dropped the trannny yesterday to replace the rear main, Look for a writeup as I have found that the description for this proccess in the Bentley lacked pictures enough for me to understand entirely what I was disconnecting. Also, I will include some tricks if all you have is a floor jack to get the transmission out and in easily.
