I have a 1986 240 GL... The tail lights on both sides have only 5 (of the 6) lights in it. The bottom middle had no bulb nor socket... and unlike the other 5.. .the cut out is a pure circle (see photos below) - without any tabs for a socket to fit in it. All of the photos I have seen online - show all six lights on both sides have those tab cuts out on all the lights. The repair manual I have all show 6 lights.

Am I just missing a different type of socket for that middle one? or is this normal to only have 5 lights.

Also - I only have one White socket 21/5 - No other 21/5... there should be 2 correct? one on each side?

only the drivers side has the rear fog. and AFAIK, that lower middle position is a reflector panel on the outside, never had a bulb.
