Default 1986 740 ignition control module location

Where is it located on a 1986 gle 740 wagon? I've looked near the battery and other obvious spots a manufacturer would put such a device and found nothing. Analyzing an 88 240 at my junk yard wielded similar results and my 91 740 is a Regina style so no help from that. I'd like to hear only from owners of this year or close and not guesses from people that don't own this model.

AKA Power Stage? Should be on the driver's, left, inside fender, a foot back from the headlight... Usually it's kind of buried under wiring.

the ignition control unit on a Bosch 740 is, I believe, over behind the instrument panel, mounted on the inside of the left side of the firewall above the steering column. the ECU (fuel injection control unit) is on the inside of the right fender, just forward of the right side front door lower hinge, and behind the plastic liner panel. the power module used with these is where lev said, its just a small module with a 5 connector.

a 87/88 240 has a completely different 'chrysler' ICU, mounted on the right fender just behind the headlight. the 89+ 240's with LH2.4 have the ICU behind the glovebox near the ECU which is just forward of the lower right door hinge, just like on the 740/940.
