Did '86 740 GLE Wagons come with a driver side airbag? I have found websites that say that Volvo had standard drivers side airbags starting in 1986. How can I tell if my car has one?

I can't find any notes in the literature that I have....Any ideas?

i have a 88 740 gle with no air bag so i doubt you have one. if you look in the owners manual there will be many pages of warnings if you have one.

 

If you have one it will say SRS on the steering wheel.
