1987 240 GL Ignition Controller
Hi,
I am looking to replace the Ignition Control Module on my 87 240 GL, which has the part number 1346107. The car has started stalling recently, and has run poorly for a while longer. Looking for an exact replacement of mine shows many that look in so-so condition and for a larger price.
I've been looking to see if ICMs 1357308 or 3517641 would work, since those for sale now are in better condition at a better price, but is anyone able to confirm if they would be able to swap?

the weak spot on the Chrysler ICU used on 1987-1988 240's is the connector plug.
also, if your 1987 is from first first half of the production year, it quite likely has biodegradable wiring harnesses, which cause all sorts of random glitches, and are quite hard to diagnose. the wiring fails where you can't see it, inside the black outer sheaths, and the more you mess with it, the worse it gets.
I don't know the cutoff date, but we had a very late 1987 production 240, and it did NOT have bad wiring.
