Default 1988 VOLVO 240 wagon considering selling

I have a 1988 240 DL wagon that I probably need to sell.
I haven't driven it for ages, altho' I did have some routine maintenance parts replaced (ages ago). I haven't even tried to start it for ages ... and am certain it would need a new battery to accomplish that.
Addl notes on condition: No dents to speak of and no rust that I'm aware of; body is sound. Needs paint job. Windshield is cracked - needs to be replaced (can't be repaired). A/C hasn't been converted and needs to be recharged (or converted!) Odometer quit working - at I believe about 250K. It needs suspension work. Seems to me I had timing belt replaced at least twice. I bought car about mid 1990's (originally a SoCal car) I didn't put a lot of miles on it beyond that.
Basically- it hasn't been driven since I got my 1993 (3 years ago) and driven only as 'back up' from about 2007 to 2014. (sigh)
I have no idea what price to put on this. I believe car will run again but clearly needs a new owner with mechanical ability. I'd hate to see it end up as a parts car but ....
Would appreciate thoughts of those more knowledgeable than I!

as described, non running, with lots of visible issues, you'd be lucky to get $1000 for it. give or take, depending on where you are, as the market for these is highly variable.

cherry in perfect running condition with good paint and clean interior and most everything working, a wagon might go as high as $5000 in the right market (SF Bay Area, parts of New England, etc)

Guy on CL in Denver has two the same color. Wagon has bent front fender but runs. Sedan has minor issues. Both the same color and the body on the wagon looks real good from the pics. Asking 1200 for quite awhile and not getting any reasonable offers he says.
I see on fleabay the minty ones are from 3-5000.
Trouble with fixers is ya gotta find someone willing to do the work on them themselves. You can't afford to take them to a shop.
I fear many of these (along with others) that need minor repairs will end up as parts cars or scrapped because nobody can see clear of paying for repairs.
It is a sad fact of our time. If it breaks throw it out!!!
