1989 245 stereo wiring question
Hi. I just switched out the factory stereo in our 1989 245 dl and want to make sure I didn't miss anything.
There is a 9-pin connector a yellow wire connector, a brown wire connector and the antenna plug. I found all the mating connectors, connected them and the stereo works. However, the 9-pin connector that is in the car has a loose red wire coming from it with a different plastic connector. It was not connected to anything before. There is also a loose black wire floating around by itself that looks like it would connect to the red wire.
Does anyone know what they are for? Or know where there is a wiring diagram?
Thanks!

Generally red is hot (12v+) and black is ground (-).I'm guessing here but is the red might be for the power antenna? the guys over in the AV chat room have all that at their fingertips but there are some guys here who have committed the all RWD wiring harnesses to memory.
Having said that jumpers and mods on the old cars are very common, always test mystery wires first with your VOM or test lite.
