alright i'm looking to purchase a 1989 740 with 141,000k miles on it. What do i need to know or look for when buying? Any help and info on this year and model would be great. I did a search but didn't find anything.

Try to make sure the engine and trans mounts are good.Make sure the a/c works.Check for oil leaks.Just look the car over good anything you find might help you get it cheaper.
Also check service records.Make sure the timing belt was replaced when it was supposed to be.It would have been done at 100,000 miles.
