1989 Volvo 740 Turbo Shifting Struggles
Hello, everyone!!
I'm having a problem with my 89' 740 Turbo when it's having a hard time shifting gears. Automatic transmission... Any idea why it would be doing that?

The car has about 300,000 miles, and seems to be 2-3 gear. As to hot or cold, I'm not sure what you mean... Could you please explain?

Some trannies cold shift OK, when hot, not.
Is it a delayed shift, or not at all? You can adjust the kick down cable, it may help 2-3 gear shifts. https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-9...ble_Adjustment
Also, change the fluid, when was it done last? It's often neglected.
