Default 1990 240 Master Cylinder

Need to replace the master cylinder. FCP has Beck Arnley and ATE. Any difference between the 2? Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

I'd be more inclined to get the real Volvo part, if the car is a keeper.

[different parts for ABS and non-ABS cars, btw]

Beck Arnley is a distributor/repackager. Their product is generally o.e. quality. Quite possible the BA m/c would be ATE or Girling.

I've seen cheap chinese parts in B/A boxes too. Caveat Emptor.

Sad but true, Chinese product shows up in most all name brand boxes: Bosch, Delco/Delphi, TRW, SKF, B/A, ATE, Brembo. Not too sure where Volvo sources some of their parts these days; presumably the standards are a bit higher.

That's the world we live in. If they are a reputable brand, presumably they stand by their product wherever they are made and should be OK... What else are you gonna do?
Now the owner of Volvo is Geely anyway, so more and more there will be Chinese sourced parts and still be OEM.
