been searching for replacement strut towers for a 1990 240 dl and getting no where. can they be had new?

 

I'd check IPD on the web. They carry pretty much a full line of suspension stuff. A little pricier than Pep Boys or Auto Zone, but usually cheaper than the dealer and they have a lot of stuff that you can't get at an auto parts store.
