I am trying to get my recently purchased 1990 240 DL on the road. Mechanic says the spindles are chewed up. It looks like I can only replace them by getting a whole new strut assembly?
I've found it very difficult to find struts for my car. Im just wondering if there are any other models that have front struts that would work other than the 87-91 240. And wagon struts would be the same for the fronts correct? Im just looking for a cheap way to get it on the road at this point. I plan on going with coilovers eventually. Any help would be appreciated.
