Default 1990 740 gl wagon. Regina system. Fuel pump issue

Replaced pump in the intank fuel assembly. Replaced the fuel pump relay. If I jump pin 30 to 87/1 and 87/2 the fuel pump turns on and car starts but runs at 3 to 4 k rpms.

fuse 1 and 11 are good.

what am I missing?

thanks in advance.

Default 1990 740gl regina fuel pump and fuel pump relay.

realy need some insight on this. I have replaced the intank fuel pump. The crank position sensor. The fuel pump relay. When I turn the key and try to start no 12 volts to the fuel pump. But if I jump the 3 pins under the fuel pump relay the fuel pump runs fine and the car starts up.

what’s the chance I got a bad fuel pump relay from autozone?

thanks in advance.
