Default 1991 240 1-2-3, 2-2-4 code

Hey guys I have a problem that im confused about. I have a check engine light and when I pulled the codes I got 1-2-3 and 2-2-4 which are both coolant temp sensors. Now I replaced the coolant temp sensor (the one with 2 prongs not the sensor with one) and I still have the check engine light. I was wondering what else I could do, like check wires from sensor to ecu, or switch ecus from a donor car. Side note when I gas it, it starts to bog down a little bit then will catch back up. Also its a little hard to start now. Not sure what to do and I move away for college in 3 days so I gotta try to finish this quickly, any help is appreciated.

did you clear the codes? those sorts of codes are remembered, you have to clear them, and see if they come back.

Yes I reset the codes, and tried touching the battery cables together and the check engine light still came back on.
