Default 1991 240 sedan, no tach and runs for a few seconds before stalling

Bought a 5-speed 240 sedan yesterday with a host of issues I plan on fixing. Ran and drove alright when I bought it, then I trailered it home and tried to drive up my ramps to fix the whole Y pipe being snapped in half ordeal, however, I noticed I had no tach, and the car kept stalling out on me. I would restart it, and a few seconds later it conks out. I have a CEL but I'm pretty sure that's due to, again, the Y pipe being snapped in half right before the o2 sensor. But no tach? That's kind of odd. In my research I have found that in cases where the crankshaft position sensor went bad, the car would stall and you have no tach, but I've seen other people say that the car wouldn't start at all with a bad sensor, which is not what I am experiencing. The car starts remarkably fast.

Given the symptoms, what should I direct my time towards testing to find the culprit behind this issue?

What's "no tach" got to do with it? Sounds like a fuel delivery issue but to verify measure the fuel pressure. May have a huge air leak somewhere.

Sorry I should have been more clear about "no tach", what I mean is the RPMs remain at 0 and do not change despite the fact that the engine is running. I figured it was a detail that mightbe useful.

I will check out the fuel pressure
