1991 740 Turbo Wagon Parts Needed
I'm tired of trying to bring back the plastic covers over my headlights. The haze cannot be rubbed out. Is there a glass replacement available? Also if anyone has parts for a 91 740 turbo wagon I need a set of horns, glass headlight covers if possible and the passenger front turn signal assembly, seems the lens came off while driving and the parts stores don't carry it.
PM me if you have these parts for sale.
Thanx

Depo sells a pretty decent quality replacement plastic lens thats a bolt on substitute way cheaper than bluebox Volvo lamps, look for them on fleabay. They should last at least 5-10 years even if you park outside full time. if you can park facing north (away from the sun), they'll last longer
there are no glass lenses for US model 740/940 with the single rectangular headlights. the fancier configuration with foglamps seen on late 760s, all 960s, and some 940s has glass headlights but useless plastic foglamps, but it also requires a different grill, different trim panel, different turn signals, so you're basically replacing the whole front end.
the european single light 740/940s had glass lenses, but those E-code lights are virtually unobtanium anymore, unless you have volvo collector friends in .EU to track a set down for you. They also don't meet US DOT standards, so if you live in a state where they inspect that sort of thing, you're SOL.
Those headlight polishing kits are a joke. I spent 6 hours on my wife's '04 Camry last year, and a year later they were as bad as before I started. Depo to the rescue, brand new headlights for $120 total!
