1991 940 Power Seat Switch
Anyone know howthe switch comes apart. I have 12 volts to the switch and0 volts out. I know the stop button does stick.
I wantto take the switch apart to service it.
Thanksfor any help...

Pull theplastic assembly where the switch sitsUP from the front, it could be pretty tight. The back part is attached to the seat with a screw at the end. There are two bolts on the bottom holding the switch in place.
You can try to unscrew that front torx too, sometimes it's hard to get to... The switch itself, comes apart, be careful not to lose little springs and bb's. These switches, up to 1991 are a pain the way they are designed-a lot of crap falls in there, makes them malfunction. Especially the RED stop button one; if it's stuck then nothing works. The ones 1992 and up are better.

Apparently the switch doesn't come apart. You pry the rockers off to service them. like ted says. But it looks like the circuit board and components will pull out from the bottom, don't know.
Heres the schematic, can some explain what the diodes are for.
