I have a 1992 Volvo 240 Wagon that was recently in a car accident that damaged the front. I have since fixed all of the damage (except realigning the fenders). now my problem is that only after driving the car does the hood stick closed, I have ruled out everything I could think of, and I am confused. once the hood is open I can close it and reopen it as many times as I want, until I drive it. then it sticks.

 

Remove the front grill and use a mirror and light to observe the latch while someone else pulls the release lever.

 

I already fixed it by observing the latch while someone else pulled the lever, then i cleaned the latch thoroughly and now it works great.
