Default 1992 240 Wagon

Help -

I have a 1992 240 Wagon - I have been dealing with the same problem for over three months and $800.00 later the car is back to doing the same exact thing.

When I am sitting still it is trying to stall out and black smoke pours out of the back. When the car is turned off all you can smell oil.

I have replaced the fuel regulator computers and fuel regulator valve.

Thanks

H

Is the O2 sensor sweeping?
Is the mass flow sensor good?
Has the throttle body and idle motor been cleaned?

Has your gas mileage gone to Hell, too?

Could be an air mass sensor in "limp home" mode. Check the connector and make sure it's clean and connected tightly.

Also, check air lines for leaks.
