hmm, interesting...well, you going to first want to fix it. get under the Volvo and all around it, look at the compressor and the way it's mated to the block. You should understand the axial function for adjustment of belt tension/compressor placement. once you understand this, you should begin to see a 10mm bolt that runs perpendicular to the compressor, the mechanical principal of this is to push the compressor towards a particular direction while the mating components hold it at a fixed point via axis. be sure to understand that the compressor will not move unless you loosen the bolts which lock the axial play. I believe the belt size is 13mm X 975mm. hope this helps.
