1992 740turbo front rotors
I'm trying to do a front brake job on my 1992 740 turbo wagon with ABS.
I all the rotors I see listed online for this model year have a separate rotor and hub/wheel bearing assembly.
After taking it apart, I appear to have the single rotor/bearing and ABS gear assembly which is listed for the 1985-1987 model years.
Can anyone explain this?
I also found reference to a two piece conversion kit, which I guess will allow me to use the rotors that I've already purchased?
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks.

Volvo is generally easy with parts interchangability except when it comes to brakes. Problem is that they used various suppliers even in the same model year and this creats the situation you are facing. Can you return the rotors you bought? Your best bet would be to keep it original and to do this you'd have to take the old brakes with you when you go shoping for replacements. That's what I do...
I need to measure the rotor width, but it looks like the car has the single hub/rotor and not the more common separate rotor and hub/ABS cog. IPD offers the hub/cog but I'm afraod that the new separate rotor will be wider and rub the caliper bracket. Has anyone converted the front of their volvo?
