Default 1992 Volvo 240 Wiper switch

I'm looking at a 240 wagon with a loose wiper switch, headlight issues (but working brights), and a bugged up transmission lock system (need to remove the cover to shift out of park). Most of these I can fix on my own, but I need to know if its just trim that needs to be removed or if its wheel off operation.

Wiper switch...turn signal switch can be removed and replaced without removing the steering wheel on a 7/9 car. Pretty sure it's the same for a 2.

Thanks, I was concerned since apparently in the S90 its a wheel off deal, but those do have adjustable steering.

I looked in my parts stash after posting and I've got some stalks from 240s and I know I didn't remove the wheel.

The biggest issue is getting access to the screws that hold them on. I used a screwdriver like this...
