Red face 1993 volvo 940 turbo

Is the head of a regular 1993 volvo 940 interchangeable with the head of a 1993 volvo 940 turbo?

The turbo have a blown head gasket so i am trying to install the head of a regular 1993 940.

I am not changing the belt but i need to remove the tensioner!

There is any tool to remove and install the tensioner?

How do i calibrate the tensioner?

Thank you.
Hector.

The heads should swap fine... But what's wrong with the head with the blown HG? How bad is it? Do you really need another head?

No special tools for the tensioner, just unbolt it but first lock in the spring with a pin or a nail so it doesn't shoot out (move the spring to the left side, there will be a whole to put the pin in before removal). No "calibration" needed.

Answer to lev: Well, i don't know it yet.
I have not taken the head off of the turbo, but since the gasket was blown, i belive the the head is warp!
Any ideas? I have never done this before.
Any tools to remove/install the tensioner?
Thank you.
Hector

Just because you need a head gasket doesn't mean that your head is warped. If your engine didn't overheat or overheat severely than you might be ok. I would have a machine shop check whichever valve head you decide on using regardless.
