Hi!
I was trying to remove the rear bumper from my 960, 93 volvo.
I removed the six nuts that holds the bumper to the shock absorbers/like.
Then i slided it out, but it got caught on something.
Like that it has a stop.
But can't see where!
Any help on this?
Thank you.
Hector.
Ps. this thread was posted in the 960 section, but I did not get any response!
Maybe the 940 section have more viewers.

there's a clip thing bolted to each fender that holds the sides of the plastic bumper cover, should be 2 flange bolts on the inside of the fender on each side. these bolts are accessed under the side floor panels on a wagon. not sure on a sedan.
parts diagram only shows 4 nut+bolts holding the metal bumper to the shock mounts, btw.

these side bolts are just behind the rear wheel well. again, on a wagon, pop the two rear side panels off the floor, on each side, you can see a pair of bolts, one above the other, with a plastic pin between them. I don't have a 7/9 sedan, so I can't tell you how to access it on them, but probably you remove the side carpet pieces or something.
ok, here's where they are on my 1992 740T wagon...

edit: man, I got to clean things out under there, hah hah

Hi guys!
My 960 sedan does not looks like the pictures shown.
I really need pictures of a 960 sedan.
On my 960, on the driver side i have an electrical mount, (lots of wires).
On the passenger side, there is a metallic structure, cross bars hollow.
I can see thru it, but no screws or bolts.
Tomorrow i will use a potent flash light.
I must be missing something here.
Thank you.
Hector.

well, you probably should post on the 960 forum then, as this is the 240/740/940 forum.
on the drivers side of a 740/940 is the power antenna stuff, also the wiring harness for the fuel level sender and in-tank fuel pump, and the tail light wiring. on the passenger side is sometimes an optional CD changer.
