Thumbs up 1994 940 station wagon

I currently own an 850 turbo. I am thinking about getting a station wagon because we need the room with the little one, and was thinking about going with the 940 rather than the 850. Any opinions on how these 940s hold up or things I need to consider when buying. I am learning to do my own maintenance work and the timing belts on these cars look a lot easier to access. Are these interference motors?

The 940 (B230 engine) is not an interference engine. We have 740 and 940 wagons and like them both. Go to www.stepbystepvolvo.com for free guides to replacing the timing belt.

Thanks Fred. Might pull the trigger on this deal. Really like the looks of the 740 with the roof racks.
