My brother is considering buying a 1994 940 turbo. It is a good looking car considering its age and it has brand new cylinder head, the transmission is fine but the car does have 180,000 on it. We sort of know the family and they are asking $1500 which i thought was not a bad price pending a mechanichs inspection. The family has numerous cars and money is not really an issue for them so I would tend to think the car is better maintained. (especially considering they paid over three grand to have the head fixed) Any advice or things to look for in this model prior to purchase would be appreciated Thanks.

 

Just have the normal things checked by someone.

I think it is a really good buy just by looking at what you wrote.

The car will get easily over 300,000 miles without any problems.
