Default 1995 940 Turbo - Changing timing belt and tensioner

Having recently acquired this vehicle with 205,000 miles on it, I figure a timing belt and tensioner replacement is in line. I think the only time this work has been done was around the 100,000 mark.

Is there a good book to use like a Haynes manual or something? I have never changed a belt or tensioner, but I learn quickly and can often figure out how things work pretty easily.

What I am really looking for is something with good diagrams/pictures to guide me. Also, how long should this work take?

Unsure of the engine, but it is a 4 cyl turbo wagon everything is stock.

You have a B230FT "red block". Volvo wants you to change the timing belt every 50K, so if you don't know for sure that this has been done recently, changing it is a very good idea. Haynes or Chiltons both cover this in enough detail that you shouldn't have any major problems. You will need to pull the radiator, but RWD Volvos are one of the easier timing belt jobs. Hardest part will be getting the crankshaft pulley off; an impact is helpful here. It is not necessary to change the water pump as you would on many FWD vehicles. You can easily do it in a day if it's your first one, and a leisurely afternoon if you've done one before.

No need to pull radiator off.
Remove clutch fan, accessory belts, balancer and timing belt covers and you are right there, ready to pull the belt.
If it's your first time on a redblock and have mechanical knowledge, budget 4-5 hours for the job. With those miles, I would reccommend replacing the accesroy drive belts too, they're surely due for it, and you have to remove them to get in to the belt.
Also buy the belt kit with idler pulley and crank/cam seals, both seals are easy to replace and should be done at that mileage, I guarantee the crank is weeping a little by now.
