1995 940 Turbo- Exhaust smells like gasoline
When I drive this Volvo, I notice that the exhaust smells like gas. It is concerning me because it smells strong. There is no gas smell inside the cab, just coming from the exhaust. From the research I have done, it could be that the fuel injector could be causing the issue or there is a leak somewhere. I started this thread to see if any of ya'all might have advice or previous experience with this type of problem.

if its running too rich, you shoudl be getting a check engine light and an ECU code indicating some sort of problem with the mixture.
things that can make it run rich? lets see... air leaks in the exhaust manifold after the turbo but before the O2 sensor.... dead O2 sensor... dead MAF (causing the engine to run in failsafe mode which is way too rich, but if this was happening, you'd be way down on power and torque).... dribbling injectors...
there's probably more, thats just off the top of my head.
