1995 Volvo 940
Hello
i posted this before and TECH answered my doubt, about the problem i had which is that whenever i start the car the RPM goes below the 900 RPM standard i believe and it shuts off, i took it to the mechanic and i told the guy clean the IDLE engine and the throttle body, and he "said" he did it, but i dont believe him, maybe he did and that didnt fix it?

RE: 940 starting issue
Sorry I don't have any pics. Look for a hose going to the engine on the left side of the car. The peice it attaches to on the engine is the throttle body. You can also folow the Cable to the engine and then the little Rod that goes to the throttle body as well.
I don't Own a Volvo but have seen many of them with well over 300,000 miles on them.

RE: 940 starting issue

RE: 940 starting issue
Ok, i will try to do it, and i will be taking my car for a engine wash because its DIRTY, look at it and then maybe you see what 11 years of not cleaning it looks like heh, also on the back seats of the car, what do you call the thing where you put items like behind the drivers seat and the passengers seat? because the elastic that goes there is all worned out, and i want a new one

RE: 940 starting issue
oh my lord, i cant just change the elastic band in it? !! oh well, ill see what i can do, and also i just changed the 4 shock absorbers of my volvo, and the car feels exactly the same way it did with the old shocks, i mean i feel every hole on the street, maybe because the shocks are brand new and they need time to loosen up? whats wrong?
