There should be a 4 digit codes on the metal plate under the hood. The 5 digit should be the Paint Code.

HUMMMMM there should be one set with 4.
Unless yours is to old.

Maybe call the Dealer and Ask for a price for the visior and when they ask for the color code ask how to find it.

Maybe the Guage is messing up.
Do you Beat on the car?
Do you smell gas outside in the back of the car?

Sorry I actually meant to say the sending unit in the tank for the guage.
They are known to mess up from time to time. Watch it and see what happens in the next couple of tanks of gas.

Ok just checking. I always BEAT my cars. I always go fast.

Some Tech's have a tool to measure the resistance from the sending unit to see if it is reading.
If not you will need to replace it.

But like I said try another tank or 2 and see what happens.

Sometimes you can use a meter to test it. But other times you need a special tool to do it.
The fuel pump relay only controls the pump itself. If the relay was going bad the car would stall at times or just not start.

If you are going to cut the hole then it should work fine.
