Customer called me out to look at his 99 Volvo c70 220k miles he said it was running great until the other day it stalled on him. I replaced all the spark plugs, and can get it to start and idle but it's rough and eventually stalls. I put my fuel gauge on the valve on the fuel rail, fuel ejected from the system but the guage read 0 alldata has a tedious process for checking the fuel pressure involving a pump and lots of adapters. Is there a simpler way to check fuel pressure. Scanned vehicle and got a p0705 Wich is related to the park/neutral switch. But I was under the impression the car wouldn't start at all of this was faulted. So I Cleared codes and started it again then got 3 additional codes but not the p705. one was related to engine coolant temperature sensor another for the turbo sensor circuit. Can't remember the exact codes because the report never sent to my email and I'm not with the vehicle currently. What would be your next steps to diagnosing and repairing the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated I have never worked on a Volvo and would like to figure this out.
