240 cabin air filter
I have a '92 240 wagon and am pretty sure there is no cabin air filter. (?) Has anyone had the experience of installing an after market cabin filter assembly somehow? I live in an area of intense summer smoke and this would be a tremendous help.
Thanks, Prairie

The earliest cabin air filter that I recall on a Volvo was the 1995 850. What Volvo did was create an injection molded carrier that snapped into place where the intake duct was under the cowl. From there, the filter sat in a rectangular frame.
Remembering the architecture of the 240, you'd have to remove steel bodywork to access the air duct and I'm doubtful that the shape and size is the same as that apparatus for the 850s.
