i've got a 1989 240 DL auto that needs a new radiator and oi want to do it myself.
i've seen plastic and all metal types-
which one is better?
and how difficult is this to replace?

I would go with the 2-row Nissens aluminum/plastic.

If you live in a desert area like Phoenix, the 3-row is more efficient. Otherwise the 2-row is fine.

Very easy to replace. I would also replace the thermostat at the same time.
