So here in pennsylvania the roads suck. Because of this, the piece that holds the absorber in the strut tube stripped, and is just clanking around.The threads are gone off the strut tube. and i do not or have not ever heard of a tap and die kit for something that big.Does anyone know what i can do to fix this issue. I dont want to weld it. If i have to buy used i will.

 

a used part is probably your best bet here. You should be able to find one near you with www.car-part.com
