The glove box lock on my 1984 242 just shat itself so I got up and went to the wreckers and bought a "new" one.
Now I'm faced with the issue that I can't for the life of me figure out how to disassemble one of these since the "new" one didn't come with a key as they didn't have it anymore.
Google searches give me a guide for the other style of glove box lock but can't find a guide for this style so if you happen to know how I might go about accomplishing this then I'd highly appreciate it.
I'd really like for the lock to work since I got 2 sets of keys and everything for this.
I seem to have located the pin in the longer of the 2 slots.
You happen to have a recommendation on what to use to pull it out or should I just whip out my Leatherman?
