Default 240 headlight bracket

An unthinking un-Volvo recently smacked into the front-left corner of my beloved 1986 240 wagon. Her turn-signal lens cracked (no big deal, $12 to replace), but the impact also broke the headlight bracket where the turn signal assembly bolts onto it. So I need to replace that part as well. It looks like I need to remove the grill to get to the old bracket. I'm concerned about disassembling everything and then not being able to put things back together. (My life can be well summarized as sequence of such events.) What I'm wondering is:

Is this any easy enough DIY repair for someone not mechanically inclined? Should I order the part from eeuroparts.com ($39 aftermarket) and seize the day, but keep my trustworthy local Volvo mechanic on speed dial ... just in case?
